Florence, AL M. Kevin Gray, M.D.

Dr. M. Kevin Gray is one of the founding partners of Florence Ophthalmology, P.C. and has been practicing comprehensive ophthalmology in Florence since completing his residency in 1995. He is a Board Certified Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Gray grew up in Florence and attended Mars Hill Bible School. His family moved to Leoma, Tennessee just before he started high school, and he is a graduate of Loretto High School. He graduated a magna cum laude University Scholar from the University of Tennessee at Martin, where he was a member of a conference champion varsity rifle team. He graduated from medical school at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City and then completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.

Dr. Gray and his wife, Donna, have three children and are members of the Stony Point Church of Christ. They enjoy riding horses together and have 5 at their home near Central. Dr. Gray has been an avid War Between the States living historian for over 25 years and currently commands an infantry battalion as its colonel. He is also the Commander of the E.A O’Neal Camp, Sons of Confederate Veterans, in Florence.
